Angelica Panganiban - a Filipino American TV presenter, model and actress - is an American comedian. Panganiban, who is called "the the new Queen of Drama" by a variety of media publications within the Philippines, is one of the best-known and most versatile actors. Angelica took part in the American version of Got Talent season 12, in which she made it through the initial round of auditions. her rendition of Rise Up performed by Andra Days helped her to pass. At the Judge Cuts round, Angelica was given a golden buzzer by Guest judge Chris Hardwick after covering Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys, sending her directly to the live shows. During the live shows she sang Clarity of Zedd in the quarterfinals, and Without You by David Guetta for her Semifinals performance. Angelica was able to make it to the Finals where she sang Symphony from Clean Bandit. She performed Stronger along with Kelly Clarkson, and Kechi Okwuchi in the final results. She was the youngest ever runner-up and finished second in the competition. Angelica Hale, then 4 years old, was taken seriously ill in 2012 due to the strep-pneumonia bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston placed her on ECMO support for lifesaving treatment. It was not until her kidneys recovered that she could be saved following the onset of an infection that was septic and she was diagnosed with several organ malfunctions. Her condition forced her to alter her daily routine around hemodialysis then dialysate for the peritoneal area. After nearly 80 days in hospital, from near-death to long road to recovery she finally made it home but her life was forever changed. After one year and a half of dialysis, Angelica was ready for the biggest surgery of her life-her kidney transplant. The kidney that would be donated to her came from her mom. Angelica and mom had the surgery to remove their kidneys successfully on September 13, 2013. The surgery was performed at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals that are located next to one. Angelica Hale's ambition to be the world's most famous person has never wavered.
